On February 20, 2024, students from Princess Chulabhorn Science High School (PCSHS) Mukdahan, Thailand, who visited Hiroshima University High School, visited the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus with Hiroshima University High School students, took a mock class with Professor Iwamoto. The students also enjoyed a campus tour and interaction with IGS students. Japan’s Ministry of Education has selected Hiroshima University High School as a designated "Super Science High School" focusing on STEM education. Hiroshima University High School has exchanges with several high schools overseas.
