Research Topic
We can see a great diversity of living organisms (biodiversity) on the earth. I am intrigued by the questions how and why the earth has such a tremendous biodiversity. On the other hand, this great biodiversity is rapidly being lost by anthropogenic impacts. I would like to contribute to building an international framework in order to conserve our current biodiversity.

Message
What knowledge do we need to conserve the biodiversity of our planet? Of course, ecology is essential to the accomplishment of this goal. In addition, we have to be knowledgeable of a number of fields including ethics, economics, sociology, and jurisprudence. You can learn all these essential subjects in our IGS Department so you can act on biodiversity conservation. IGS is the best place to learn and practice the conservation of biodiversity!
