In this lecture, Dr. Kokoli analyzes examples of art and visual activism found at the Women’s Peace Camp at Greenham Common (1981- 2000), a women-only camp established in protest of nuclear proliferation and the Cold War ideology of deterrence that fuelled the arms race. This peace camp occupied the periphery of the US military based at the Royal Air Force Greenham Common in Berkshire, England, where nuclear missiles were kept. Dr. Kokoli raises questions on representational ethics and aesthetics of nuclear violence from intersectional feminist perspectives.

本プログラムでは，平和学，文化人類学，政治学，法学，倫理学，地域研究などを基盤とし，「平和と共生」という共通したキーワードのもと，各研究領域に関する基本的知識および批判的考察の習得を目指します。核被害，紛争，貧困・ジェンダー・民族や宗教に由来する社会の不平等，その原因かつ解決策であるフォーマル／インフォーマルな制度，開発と文化の関係，戦争と倫理，安全保障と核兵器といった問題について，さまざまな分野の教授陣から多角的な指導を受けながら，学生が選んだ専門分野とテーマについて研究を行います。
多様なバックグラウンドをもつ世界各国からの留学生とともに，平和を標榜する「ヒロシマ」という地で，国内・国際社会のさまざまな問題について研究できるユニークなプログラムです。なお，すべての講義は英語で実施されますが，修士・博士論文の執筆は日本語でも可能です。
