We are pleased to announce that we will be holding an IEDP seminar as follows. We would like to invite all interested students to attend.

In the seminar, the presenter will talk about child protection policies/works and "race" in 20th century America, based on her recent publication “Protection” and “Classification”: A Social History of Japanese Immigrant Children in America (Kyushu University Press, 2022; in Japanese).

We look forward to your participation.
(It is not required to read the book to attend the seminar.)
