Research Topic
I am studying tiny particles (aerosol) suspended in the atmosphere. Aerosol can act as nucleus of cloud particle. In other words, clouds and raindrop cannot be formed without aerosol. In order to grasp the role of aerosol in climate change and biogeochemical cycles, I am measuring physical and chemical characteristics of aerosol in various places such as ocean, mountains, urban, rural site and so on.

In order to deal with global environmental problems, it is important to highly appreciate your expertise and to have an interdisciplinary/international perspective. I am happy if I can conduct field observations with the students who gained broad perspective and high communication skills at IGS in the future.
