Research integrity refers to the soundness and fairness of research that must be ensured in response to the risks associated with the internationalization and openness of research activities.
Our university is working to build an internationally reliable research environment by establishing a research integrity management system and implementing appropriate risk management.
Research Integrity Management System
Our university has established the "Regulations for Ensuring Research Integrity at Hiroshima University" in 2024. Based on these rules, we have introduced a university-wide system and established a research integrity management system that can centrally manage various types of concern information as an institution.
Our University's Research Integrity Management System
Research Integrity Management Supervisor and the Research Integrity Management Committee will form a consensus regarding ensuring research integrity, and will develop relevant rules, conduct surveys, provide education and training, and formulate response policies, etc. Furthermore, we plan to strengthen risk management by coordinating with related departments in charge of existing risk management tasks to collect necessary information and set up a consultation desk to respond to new risks.
