A Delegation from Shandong University of Political Science and Law, China, Visits HU

On May 30, 2025, a delegation led by Vice President Xiaoqing Hu of Shandong University of Political Science and Law (SDUPSL), China, paid a courtesy visit to Hiroshima University’s Higashi-Hiroshima Campus and held discussion with HU Executive Vice President (Global Initiatives) Shinji Kaneko.

During the meeting, the two universities exchanged views on future student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and expansion of cooperation through Hiroshima University 3+1 Program, a program to accept international students at HU.
SDUPSL belongs to the People's Government of Shandong Province and is a comprehensive university with many departments, mainly in law, but also in literature, economics, management, engineering, and other fields. It is the only university in Shandong Province specializing in the field of politics and law, and has produced a large number of excellent administrative and management personnel, especially in the province.

HU has concluded 133 inter-university international exchange agreements with 121 institutions and 84 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 80 institutions in China. Currently, 972 students from China are studying at HU. With this visit, HU will promote exchange with SDUPSL as well as other universities and research institutions in China.
