Professor Kikuo Okuyama from the Hiroshima University Institute of Engineering was honored with the 10th Award for Persons of Merit in Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration (Minister Prize of Economic, Trade and Industry).
This award program was launched in 2003, with the aim to contribute to further development of our country’s industry-academia-government collaboration by rewarding excellent results important for the growth of these alliances, such as significant results or pioneering efforts of collaborative activities between industrial, academic and public research organizations. It has now been awarded 10 times.
The award ceremony will be held on September 28, (Fri) at the Tokyo International Forum within the framework of the “2012 Conference for Industry-Government-Academic Cooperation”.
