We have concluded an International Exchange Agreement with University of Kent (UK)

On October 27th, Hiroshima University and University of Kent (UK) signed an International Exchange Agreement.

Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow, President of the University of Kent, Professor Roger Vickerman, and Mr. Joseph Taylor of the Universities UK paid a courtesy visit to Hiroshima University President Mitsuo Ochi at the Higashi-Hiroshima campus and signed the agreement.

Professor Dame Goodfellow serves as the President of the Universities UK and delivered a lecture titled “Brexit and its Impact on UK Universities” after the agreement signing ceremony. She said, “It’s important to continue moving forward with our international partners including Japan to the problems or changes we’ll be facing in the future.”

We look forward to deepen our mutual understandings between the two countries as well as between Japan and UK, and also contribute to academic progress, development, and human resource development.
