A member of the Hiroshima University Rowing Club has won 2nd place at the All Japan University Rowing Championship!



Mr. Kohei Noguchi of the Hiroshima University Rowing Club (2nd year, School of Letters) has gotten 2nd place in the Men’s Single Skull at the 43rd All Japan University Rowing Championship held during September 22nd to 25th at the Toda Boat Course, Saitama Prefecture.

Mr. Noguchi has gotten 3rd place at the qualifying race but won 1st place at the repechage race, and at the semifinal race. The final race was with athletes from strong teams of private universities and the representatives of the national team, but Mr. Noguchi was able to demonstrate a powerful row, and achieved an excellent result; 2nd place.
