(Dec 6) Practicing Peacebuilding the 7th Lecture “Peacebuilding and Infrastructure”

Practicing Peacebuilding the 7th Lecture “Peacebuilding and Infrastructure” will be held as follows.

The Speaker, Dr. Nishimiya, Former Executive Director, JICA Chugoku Center, has a lot of experiences of international cooperation in infrastructure development, particularly of road transportation, in conflict affected areas.  During his term as Executive Director of JICA Chugoku Center, he organized a series of inter-disciplinary and interinstitutional peacebuilding seminar with practitioners, civil services and academicians.  He studies a lot about various tangible effects of peacebuilding assistance and argues both positive and negative aspects.
