(Dec 20) Practicing Peacebuilding the 9th Lecture “Peace and Development in Mindanao”

Practicing Peacebuilding the 9th Lecture “Peace and Development in Mindanao” will be held as follows.

Mr. Ochiai, former Chief of JICA Cotabato Project Office, who from 2010 to 2013 served as a Japanese representative in IMT (International Monitoring Team) that has been monitoring the ceasefire agreed by the Philippine Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, has been working for peace and development in Mindanao for years in various ways. For his endeavor in Mindanao, he received Nakasone Yasuhiro Incentive Award in 2016. In this lecture, he will talk about Japan’s efforts for sustainable peace in Mindanao.
