Hiroshima Synchrotron Radiation Center (HiSOR), Hiroshima University will organize the 23rd Hiroshima International Symposium on Synchrotron Radiation - Materials and Biomolecular Science using VUV-SX Synchrotron Radiation - on March 7-8, 2019 at Satake Memorial Hall, Hiroshima University.

This international symposium is held every year in March to be aware of the latest researches and techniques in the field of synchrotron-radiation science, and overview scientific activities in this fiscal year at HiSOR, one of the Joint Usage/Research Center in Japan.

In this symposium, we will invite distinguished researchers from abroad and Japan in the fields of the materials science and biomolecular science using vacuum ultraviolet and soft X-ray synchrotron radiation, and the light source development. The research activities in HiSOR will also be presented at poster session.
