On October 2 2020, Mr. Tri Purnajaya, Deputy Chief of Mission from the Embassy of Indonesia in Tokyo, and his colleagues, paid a courtesy call to the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus of Hiroshima University (HU).

During the meeting, opinions were exchanged about HU’s education and research activities, followed by a convivial gathering with Indonesian students studying at HU.

Currently, HU has over 120 international students from Indonesia, which is one of the largest numbers in Japanese universities. It is hoped that university and research exchange between the two countries will continue to flourish.
