On March 24th, 2022, H.E. Mr. Ovidiu Dranga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Japan, paid a courtesy call to the Kasumi Campus of Hiroshima University (HU) and engaged in discussion with HU President Mitsuo Ochi. The meeting was also attended by Executive Vice President in charge of Global Initiatives, Shinji Kaneko.

During the meeting, opinions were shared on various topics such as HU’s educational and research activities and the possibility of exchange between HU and universities in Romania.

Going forward, we hope to further the collaboration with universities and research institutions in Romania.
