[Nov. 9, 2024 | Hybrid Event | Registration Required] Symposium: “Building a Symbiotic Society between Humanity and the Earth through the Planetary Health Framework”

Event Overview

Planetary Health emphasizes that the health of humanity and the health of the Earth are interdependent. We aim to achieve the best possible health, well-being, and fairness by examining the political, economic, and social structures. But are we not already taking action within the framework of our individual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? How does Planetary Health relate to and contribute to these existing initiatives? To explore this, we are honored to welcome Dr. Samuel Myers, founder of the Planetary Health Alliance, who will discuss the relationship between Planetary Health and three key areas: “Nature Restoration (Nature Positive),” “Carbon Neutrality,” and “Circular Economy.” He will be joined by leading panelists from each field for an engaging discussion.
