Professor Ayyoob Sharifi from Hiroshima University's IDEC Institute has been named to the Highly Cited Researchers 2024 list by Clarivate.

The list recognizes researchers who have published multiple papers ranking in the top 1% by citations in their fields and publication years over the past decade. Only a select group of scholars with exceptional achievements is included.

In 2024, 6,886 researchers worldwide made the list, including 78 primarily affiliated with institutions in Japan. Clarivate announced the results on November 19.
