3+1 Program Partner University Representatives Visit Hiroshima University

On March 3, 2025, representatives from two of our partner universities in the Morito Institute of Global Higher Education 3+1 Program, including Qingdao University of Technology, visited Hiroshima University for a courtesy meeting with President Mitsuo Ochi.

Dr. Zhang Hefeng, the representative from Qingdao University of Technology, is a lecturer at the university's Department of Japanese language.

Executive Vice President Shinji Kaneko (Global Initiatives) and Vice President Kazuhiko Koike (International Exchange/Japanese Language Education) also participated in the meeting, where they exchanged views on strengthening collaboration to ensure the continued enrollment of students in the program and explored opportunities for further student exchange.

As part of their visit, the representatives also interacted with the program students and met with faculty members involved in the program. Discussion also covered potential strategies for expanding the 3+1 program through its alumni network, utilizing Hiroshima University's Satellite Office in China.

This visit served as an important opportunity to further reinforce our partnerships for the continued student enrollment in the program.
