Hiroshima University's research centers have been newly selected from various domains to be main players in HU's transformation.

Hiroshima University has started the ‘Project Research Center’ on April 1, 2003. The center aims at activating and promoting the excellent researches of high originality that are proposed by the staffs across the Graduate Schools and Departments. In principle, the research projects are carried out using the staff's funds without additional support of person and space from the university.
