[March 19, 2026 | Hiroshima City | Registration Required] International Symposium: “Internships as Strategy — Practical Examples from North American Universities”

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, we will hold the international symposium “Internships as Strategy — Practical Examples from North American Universities” under the FY2023 MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) “Project for Strengthening the Global Competitiveness of Universities (U.S.)”.

At this symposium, we will welcome speakers from Arizona State University (USA), a partner institution in this project, and its corporate partner Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as from the University of Waterloo (Canada), which is known for its advanced internship initiatives, and its corporate partner Scotiabank. They will introduce practical examples of strategic internship programs at universities and companies in North America.

In addition to these speakers, we will host a panel discussion featuring the Director-General of the Chugoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
