Regarding the foreign-language pages of the University’s official website (main website), AI-assisted translation tools have become widespread in recent years, making it possible for users to access translations as needed. In light of this, the Spanish and Arabic versions of the main website were changed in 2024 to make use of browser-based translation functions.
From 10:00 a.m. (JST) on Thursday, March 5, 2026, the Chinese-language pages of the main website and the University Hospital website will also be changed to make use of browser-based translation functions (automatic translation).
These changes apply to the “main website,” which refers to the Chinese-language top page and its associated sections accessible through the same navigation menu.
The following Chinese-language pages will remain available via the “中文” link in the top right corner of each site:
- School of Letters: https://www.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/cn/bungaku
- Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and Politics Program: https://www.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/cn/g_law
- Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Humanities Program: https://www.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/cn/jinbungaku
We appreciate your continued interest in Hiroshima University and thank you for your understanding.
