Hiroshima University held a “Welcome Party” on April 28, 2026, at Punana dining on the Higashi-Senda Campus. The event was organized to welcome international students who enrolled at the University this spring. A total of 85 participants, including international and Japanese students from not only the Higashi-Senda Campus but also the Kasumi and Higashihiroshima Campuses, attended the event, along with Deputy Executive Director Kim,who is in charge of  Campus Globalization, and Deputy Executive Director Kajiya, who is in charge of Overseas Bases.

On the day of the event, participants enjoyed interacting with one another in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere over light refreshments. Smiles and lively conversations could be seen throughout the venue. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity for participants to build new connections across campuses and nationalities.
