On 19 May 2026, Hiroshima University held the Hiroshima University 3+1 Program Student Exchange Event at the multipurpose space in MIRAI CREA, Phoenix International Center.

This event was organized to help 3+1 Program students enjoy student life at Hiroshima University more fully and to encourage them to pursue further studies at Hiroshima University graduate schools through interaction with Japanese students, graduates of the 3+1 Program, and faculty and staff members.

Approximately 50 students, faculty, and staff members participated in the event and deepened their interaction with each other.

At the opening of the event, Director of the Morito Institute of Global Higher Education, Prof. Shibata, gave opening remarks, saying:
“We hope that this exchange event will enrich students’ lives at Hiroshima University and provide a valuable opportunity for them to consider advancing to graduate school at our university.”

After that, a guidance session on admission to Hiroshima University graduate schools was held, followed by a networking session among the participants.

Participants also shared positive feedback, such as:
“It was informative.” “I was happy to build new connections.”
