Fundraising in Support of the Areas Affected by the Disaster

A record torrential rain on July 6, and 7, 2018 has caused substantial damage across many places in Hiroshima prefecture. We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the victims of the disaster, and also hope that they will be able to get back to their normal life as soon as possible.

With a view to support the victims of the disaster, Hiroshima University is asking each university member as well as the public for donations.

We have placed a donation box at Hiroshima University Hospital. The money collected will be donated to the areas affected by the disaster via Japanese Red Cross Society, which has set up “Donation: Cash Grant for Japan Floods and Landslides 2018.”
