Rector Razak is the son of Mr. Abdul Razak, a former student from Southeast Asia who survived the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from HU in 2013.

HU has signed 7 inter-university international exchange agreements with 7 institutions and 4 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 4 institutions in Malaysia. Currently, there are 13 international students from Malaysia studying at HU.
