• The dress code for the event is semi-formal or smart casual. Traditional attire and colorful outfits are also welcome.

11月2・3日のイベントについて
Hiroshima University's 75+75th Anniversary "Commemorative Ceremony and Commemorative Events" will be held over two days from November 2(Sat.) to 3 (Sun.), 2024.
Events planned by faculties and graduate schools, and a university festival planned by students will also be held on the same day.
We are sincerely looking forward to welcoming many visitors to the Hiroshima University Higashi-Hiroshima Campus.

• Please note that simply applying by the end of May does not constitute registration for the Global Reunion. In mid-September, we sent an email with instructions for formal participant and guest registration to the international alumni who applied by the end of May. To attend the reunion, it is mandatory to complete the registration by October 4th. Those who have not completed the formal registration are not eligible to participate in the Global Reunion. We appreciate your understanding.
  5月末までに事前申し込みをしただけでは、グローバルリユニオンへの参加登録とはなりません。5月末までにお申し込みをしていただたいた国際同窓生宛に、9月中旬、正式な参加登録・ゲスト登録用のメールをお送りしており、リユニオンへの参加には、10月4日までの登録が必須となっております。正式な参加登録を行っていない方は、グローバルリユニオンの参加対象となりませんので、その点ご了承ください。。

・The event program may be subject to change in the future.  Furthermore, in the event of cancellation or postponement due to unforeseen circumstances, Hiroshima University will not be liable for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by participants traveling to Japan/Hiroshima.

Q2: Do I need to pay to participate in the Global Reunion event?/参加費用はどのようになっていますか？

A2: Participation is free of charge.  However, participants are responsible for their own flight and hotel reservations and other costs related to travel to Hiroshima.
A2: 参加費用は無料です。ただし、参加者自身でのフライト予約やホテル予約など、日本への渡航に関わる費用はご自身でご負担いただくことになります。

Q3: What procedures are required to travel to Japan?/日本への渡航に関する手続きはありますか？

A3: Participants are responsible for their own travel procedures to Japan(flight tickets and hotel reservation, etc.). In addition, if there are any necessary procedures such as visa acquisition or medical examinations, please prepare as soon as possible.
A3: 日本への渡航に関する手続き(航空券、ホテル予約など)は、参加者ご自身で行っていただくことになります。また、ビザの取得や健康診断など、必要な手続きがある場合は、早めに準備をお願いいたします。
