In light of the current situation of the novel coronavirus outbreak in Japan, HU has decided to cancel the 2020 Spring Semester Entrance Ceremony scheduled for April 3, 2020.

A pre-recorded video clip of the President's Ceremonial Speech (originally scheduled to be announced at the Entrance Ceremony) will become available from HU's website at 13:00 on the same day.

• School Guidance/Counselling Sessions are to be arranged by each School.

• On the day of the Student Guidance/Counselling Sessions, you are kindly advised to take all the measures to prevent the potential spread of the new coronavirus infection (e.g. always wearing a mask). If you have a fever or any other cold symptoms, please refrain from coming to the campus.
• For more details, please make sure to check the relevant information from your Support Office.
• The signboards for commemorative photos will no longer be installed around the different Schools/Graduate Schools due to the cancellation of the Entrance Ceremony.
