HU faculty and students selected as grantees of the 28th Hiroshima Venture Grant

Faculty and students from Hiroshima University have been selected as grantees of the 28th Hiroshima Venture Grant, winning various awards among 69 applications from the general category and 30 from the student category. The award was presented after document screenings in the first round and interviews in the second round. Details of the projects are as follows:

Comments from each awardee:

Yasuyuki Matsuura, Collaborative Research Laboratory Lecturer:
I am very happy that the potential of the project has been evaluated. We still have a lot of work to do before we can commercialize our project, but we will not waste this grant money and will continue to proceed with the project to deliver our product as a medical device to actual medical facilities.

Kaien Wakamatsu, Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences:
I am very happy to receive this award.

Chihiro Yoshiga, Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences:
I am honored to receive this award. I will continue to devote myself to my work with this award as encouragement.

Kazuki Fukui, Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences:
