HU professor featured in new video from Japan PM’s Office

 

In a new video released by the Prime Minister's Office of Japan, Professor by Special Designation Nahomi Aoto from Hiroshima University’s (HU) Research Institute for Nanodevices — alongside other industry leaders — delved into the prospects within Japan's semiconductor industry. 

Aoto shared insights on UPWARDS for the Future, the Japan-U.S. partnership fostering diverse talent in the industry, and the Setouchi Semiconductor Co-Creation Consortium, a collaborative initiative in the Setouchi region advancing semiconductor technology.

"Through collaboration, we hope that not only companies and researchers, but also the students will see the momentum of the semiconductor industry as a catalyst to further develop our shared world," Aoto said in the video. 

"We encourage students to engage with cutting-edge technology and ideas, and be inspired to make breakthroughs in new fields moving forward."
