A Delegation from Nanchang Institute of Technology (China) Visits HU

On November 22, 2024, a delegation led by Vice President Zhou Mindan of the Nanchang Institute of Technology (NIT) in China, paid a courtesy visit to Hiroshima University's Higashi-Hiroshima campus and held discussions with Executive Vice President (Global Initiatives) Shinji Kaneko.
During the meeting, they exchanged opinions on academic exchange, joint research, international internships for students, joint graduate school programs, and other possibilities for future exchange between the two universities.

Founded in 1958 in Jiangxi, China, NIT is a public university specializing in interdisciplinary education in engineering, management, science, agriculture, liberal arts, economics, and fine arts. It also offers bachelor's courses on Sino-Dutch programme of Civil Engineering and Sino-Korean programme of Electrical Engineering and Automation.

HU has concluded 133 inter-university international exchange agreements with 119 institutions and 84 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 80 institutions in China. Currently, 1,166 students from China are studying at HU.
We hope that this courtesy visit will strengthen the ties between HU and China in terms of student exchange, education, and research.
