研究内容紹介
わが国の飼料自給率を高め,環境負荷を減らすための反芻家畜の飼養管理技術を開発することを目的に,さまざまな飼料資源の評価や,各種栄養成分の消化・吸収・代謝動態及びホルモンによる代謝調節についての研究を行っている。
1)アミノ酸や尿素など窒素化合物の体内での代謝動態とその変動要因を解析している(小櫃)。
2)グレリンなど消化管ホルモンの分泌調節機構と栄養代謝調節作用を究明している(杉野)。
