INU Master's Summer School on 'Global Environmental Sustainability'

The INU Master's Summer School for Environmental Science started at Hiroshima Univesity in 2012. We invite graduate students from INU member institutions to participate in this unique learning opportunity.

Program Components

・An intensive educational program with lectures and workshops;
・Academic experts and guest speakers from around the world;
・Fieldtrips to learn about various restoration techniques and activities in the region;
・Visit to Hiroshima Bay;
・Interactive workshops with students from across the globe;
・An integrated cultural program that introduces a unique side of Hiroshima, including a visit to the Peace Memorial Museum and special entry to attend the annual Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony on 6 August.

Participation Fees

Meals, accomodation and transportation fees to Hiroshima are at your own expense. Bus transportation (except for ferry fare) offered during the program will be covered by Hiroshima University budget.

Eligibility

Students enrolled at one of the Hiroshima University Graduate Schools must be able to attend lectures and participate in discussions conducted in English.
* The certificate will be issued to each international student. The credit should be approved by his/her home university.
