The Linguistic Society of Japan will be holding a lecture series and symposium entitled "Cultivating Words, Cultivating Minds" on the subject of the way the brain develops based on word development and education, and how the brain works when speaking/hearing words. Guest speakers include Hideaki Koizumi, a Hitachi Ltd. Fellow, and everyone is welcome to participate. The meeting will take place on November 11, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Hiroshima University's Satake Memorial Hall.
