Hiroshima University Homecoming day and University Festival was held

On November 5-6, 2016, the 10th Hiroshima University Homecoming day and 65th Hiroshima University Festival was held on the Higashi Hiroshima campus.

Many alumni visited Homecoming day and talked to one another about their university memories. The main site was at Satake Memorial Hall. President Mitsuo Ochi gave an opening address followed by a chorus of the University Song. Around the main area there were student team projects and food & product fairs by partner cities and towns. Queues were forming here and there. In the afternoon, the audience was very excited during the live performance and talk show by Opera singer Ms. Michie Nakamaru.

Students entertained visitors with ingeniously planned stage performances, refreshment stands, and indoor exhibitions in the Campus festival. Also, many people visited the 17th School of Education Festival E-storm and other individual School projects.

We were able to hold the events with no mishaps and had many visitors.
Thank you to all participants.
