The amount of our Campus Guide Tour participants this year has gone over 2,000

The amount of our Campus Guide Tour participants this year has gone over 2,000 on November 7th. The commemorable 2,000th participants were the students of Seinan Junior High School from Masuda City. We presented them with original notebooks as a souvenir.

We guided them around the campus in the order of Headquarters Rooftop, Amphibian Research Center, Central Library, School of Education, School of Integrated Arts and Sciences, and University Hall.

[Campus Guide Tour]
We are holding a student-guided campus tour as a university-community collaboration project, with a partnership to the Hiroshima University Museum. Anyone can join the “regular guides” with no appointment every week on Fridays from 13:00. Additionally, we also host campus guides during Open Campuses and University Festivals, guides fit for group guests, special tours fit for certain seasons, guides to the Museum’s satellite sites, and nature walking tours called “Hakken no Komichi” (Walking Tour on the Path Filled With Discoveries).

Weather is nice today, so explanations run smoothly. Today the museum was closed, so we guided them around the Amphibian Research Center. At any generation the Axolotl is popular.

The participants intriguingly listened to the introduction about the Central Library’s automatic storage system and basement storages.
