We signed an International Exchange Agreement with Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (India)

On November 24th, Professor Hafizur Rahaman of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (IIEST) paid a courtesy visit to President Mitsuo Ochi on Higashi-Hiroshima campus, and the two universities concluded the agreement.

IIEST is the institution that leads Bachelor and Doctoral human resource development in India. We have been promoting research exchange through the HiSENS Research Center; one of the research centers that provide a prioritized support for strengthening research capabilities, and the TAOYAKA program for Creating a Flexible, Enduring, Peaceful Society; one of the Leading Graduate Education Programs.

We look forward to deepening our mutual understandings between the two universities as well as between Japan and India, and also contributing to academic progress, development, and human resource development.
