Hiroshima Synchrotron Radiation Center (HiSOR), Hiroshima University will organize the 21st Hiroshima International Symposium on Synchrotron Radiation -Present and Future Perspectives of Materials and Life Science Using VUV Synchrotron Radiation- on March 2-3, 2017 at the Faculty club, Hiroshima University.

This international symposium is held every year in March to be aware of the latest researches and techniques in the field of synchrotron-radiation science, and overview scientific activities in this fiscal year at HiSOR, one of the Joint Usage/Research Center in Japan.

In this symposium, we will invite distinguished researchers from Europe, USA, and Japan, in the field of the materials science and life science using VUV and soft X-ray synchrotron radiation, and the light source development. This year, we newly set up a Flash Poster Session in which participants especially students will give a short oral presentation on their posters.
