On May 7, 2017, Hiroshima University concluded an inter-university agreement with the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences (LEU). HU president Mitsuo Ochi visited LEU where he signed the agreement together with Acad., Prof. Dr. Habil. Algirdas Gaižutis, president of LEU.

The Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences is a national university located in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. This time, in addition to the inter-university agreement, a student exchange agreement was also concluded by the two universities. It is expected that exchange between the two universities will continue to develop in terms of both researcher and student exchanges.
