Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Arizona State University (ASU)

On April 17, 2018, Hiroshima University signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arizona State University, USA, to cooperate in academic and educational exchange.

The MOU envisages expanding university partnerships and increasing student and researcher exchanges between the two universities. The ASU-Hiroshima focus initially has been on research collaborations on topics like smart cities, aging and governance of new technologies.

Dr. Yohsuke Yamamoto, Executive Vice President for Research and Dr. Satoshi Watanabe, Vice President for University Strategy attended the signing ceremony with Dr. Sethuraman Panchanathan, Executive Vice President of Knowledge Enterprise Development of ASU, among others.
