On Sunday, October 29th, international students and researchers from abroad at Hiroshima University, together with faculty and staff, participated in the International Exchange Bus Trip. The trip took participants to Setoda-cho, Onomichi -shi. The students, researchers, faculty, staff, as well as their respective families, brought the participant total to 400 people. In order to accommodate such a large number of people, ten buses were arranged to bring the participants to the various sites.



They first visited Kosanji Temple to appreciate the culture. After the temple, the group visited Citrus Park Setoda where they enjoyed lunch. Then, they visited the orange farms where, smiling, they picked and ate as many oranges as they could. Also, they enjoyed taking pictures of Setonaikai, or the Inland Sea, which unfolded before their eyes.

In the midst of a relaxed atmosphere, the students and researchers could feel the depths of Hiroshima's fall season, and because of this, the whole journey became a meaningful experience for all.
