HU holds “Preparatory Session for Implementing International Joint Programs with European Universities”

On September 17th 2019, Hiroshima University (HU) held the “Preparatory Session for Implementing International Joint Programs with European Universities” where participants discussed the development of international joint programs (joint degree programs).

For this session, HU invited faculty and staff deeply involving in implementing international joint programs from University of Graz (Austria), Waseda University, and Kyoto University, who respectively delivered a lecture about their efforts and challenges on this matter.

The lectures were followed by a lively question-and-answer session from which participants deepened discussions and shared ideas and concerns about differences in education systems and operations between Japan and abroad. This preparatory session obviously gave them an opportunity to gather their thoughts to develop future strategies.
