We are pleased to welcome Ms. Setsuko Thurlow to give a lecture as follows. Admission is free, and simultaneous interpretation from Japanese to English is available.

Setsuko Thurlow
Ms. Setsuko Thurlow was exposed to the A bombing at the age of thirteen. She has worked together with ICAN since 2007 and accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of ICAN in 2017. She has contributed to shaping international public opinion by sharing her A bomb experiences at this year’s U.N.negotiations to establish the nuclear weapons ban treaty. She also spoke at various other international conferences aimed at highlighting the inhumane nature of nuclear weapons.
