Hiroshima University has been engaged in the Hiroshima Initiative Center for nurturing a society of peaceful coexistence, selected for the "Center of Community (COC)" program since 2013 academic year.
We will be holding an exhibition titled “HIROSHIMA ~Passing A-bomb Stories onto the Next Generation” under joint sponsorship with Higashi Hiroshima Arts & Culture Hall.
Setting “Get to know, Touch, Experience Hiroshima” as its key concept, the exhibition aims to pass down stories of what happened on the day of August 6th, 1945, to the next generation, and give an opportunity to the exhibition visitors to think about peace in Higashihiroshima, a city in which Hiroshima University is located.
We look forward to welcoming you at the exhibition.
