Opening Ceremony for the 38th Intensive Japanese Language Course



Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony for the 38th Intensive Japanese Language Course for International Students at Hiroshima University was held on 12 April 2004 in the conference room at the Faculty of Education.



There are 12 students who will undertake this course, for 6 months from April to September, to study Japanese language required to enroll in graduate schools at Hiroshima University.



At the Opening Ceremony, Akira Ninomiya, Assistant President, and Shinichiro Tawada, Director of the International Student Center, gave speeches in English welcoming the students and giving them encouragement in starting studying at Hiroshima University and life in Japan.



The students are from the following 10 countries: India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Philippines, Mongolia, Argentina, Brazil, Kenya, Egypt and Kazakhstan.
