・NOIE (Network of International Exchange)

Information about international exchange activities is sent by the mailing list. Take part in all kinds of activities of your interest. Registration needed.

These activities are designed for International and Japanese Students to enjoy together

・International Luncheon

This event is held every Thursday at lunch time (12:10 - 12:50). International and Japanese students (both of whom are almost the same in number) enjoy exchange having lunch together. Every time 20 - 40 participants enjoy a free talk.

Frequency: Every Thursday
Venue: Student Plaza 1F (free space)

・Regional World Cooking

International students from various countries become "teachers” and participants cook and eat traditional local specialties of the teacher’s home country together.

Frequency: Once or twice in a half-year
Venue: Student Plaza 1F

・Bus Tour

This is an exchange project for international and Japanese students to visit tourist sites in Hiroshima and surrounding areas by bus. The project ideas are collected from students.

Frequency: Once in a half-year
Venue: Tourist sites in Hiroshima Prefecture

Aims to improve cross-cultural understanding and the language abilities of International and Japanese students through mutual learning

・Conversation Partner Program

This program aims to improve cross-cultural understanding and the language abilities of international and Japanese students through mutual learning. Participants will be notified of their partners at orientation. Afterwards they can talk with their partners and decide a place and time for the following meetings.

Frequency: The orientation is held twice a year (Apr. & Oct.)
Venue: The orientation is held at the Reception Hall

Aims to improve discussion skills

・ NARUHODO! Cross-Cultural Discussion

This is a program for international and Japanese students that is aimed at understanding differences in ways of thinking through the group discussion on various topics in English.

Frequency: Once a month
Venue: Free space on the 1st floor or a multipurpose room of the Student Plaza
