Medical Center for Translational and Clinical Research

Recently, new kinds of treatment methods have been developed, including regenerative medicine using iPS cells and cell therapies, and studies have been conducted into the practical use of these treatment methods. The Medical Center for Translational and Clinical Research supports the clinical application of these new treatment methods at the research stage, and also promotes the development of new therapies. Currently, we are conducting studies on revascularization therapy against arteriosclerosis obliterans and Buerger's disease, cartilage regeneration for the treatment of articular cartilage lesions in the knee, and the clinical application of post-operative immunomodulating therapy to prevent serious infection after hepatic transplantation.
