Overview of the Center

Hiroshima University Beijing Research Center was established on October 25, 2002 in Beijing, in the International Education Building of Capital Normal University (CNU), as our first overseas research and education center.
The aims of this center are, to 1) support joint research and other interaction between researchers from both countries, 2) recruit outstanding international students, 3) provide support to HU students studying in China, 4) introduce Japanese culture and other information, etc. In order to achieve these goals, various measures and efforts are now in progress.
With the completion of the new research building at CNU’s College of International Education in October 2004, the center moved into an area of 5 times the size of its previous location. Equipped with an office, a tea ceremony room, conference rooms and classrooms, there are also staff who speak good Japanese.
