The 2023 Entrance Ceremony will be held as follows.

・After the Entrance Ceremony, video messages from celebrities and a mini concert by Ms. NAKAMARU Michie, an opera singer and a visiting professor of HU etc. will be conducted. (Scheduled to end around 1 p.m.)
・The signboard for commemorative photographs will be placed in front of the venue.

Handling of masks at Entrance Ceremony

●New students, faculty and staff are kindly requested to remove their masks during the Entrance Ceremony.

To families

・Families are kindly requested to refrain from entering the venue due to the prevention of COVID-19.

1.Access to Higashi-Hiroshima Sports Park

●About 900 cars can be parked at Higashi-Hiroshima Sports Park Gymnasium. (There is a room to park every year.)
●If you come by bicycle, please park at the bike parking lot on campus.
(The closest bike parking lot to Daigaku-Kaikanmae bus stop is near the School of Engineering.)
●About temporary bus stop in Hiroshima University,Higashi-Hiroshima Campus, please click here.
●The schedule of the temporary bus service to the Higashi-Hiroshima Sports Park is as follows.

※1 The venue and the roads around the venue are expected to be crowded from one hour before the commencement of the entrance ceremony. In particular, since it will take some time to go by bus from 1) the Daigaku-Kaikanmae bus stop at the Higashi-Hiroshima campus to the venue due to the congestion of the surrounding roads (It may take 30 minutes to get on), please allow enough time to reach the venue.
※2 After the entrance ceremony (around noon), temporary bus services will be available from the venue to 1) Daigaku-Kaikanmae bus stop , 2) JR Saijo Station and 3) JR Higashi-Hiroshima Station.

2.About the Precautions for measures against the COVID-19 infection

●To new students
・If you have a cold symptom such as fever, please refrain from visiting the venue or the campus.

●To HU students
・we request you to kindly refrain from coming to the venue.

※If there is any significant change in the infection status in the future, the method of holding this ceremony may be changed. Thank you for your understanding.
