(March 9-10, 2023) The 27th Hiroshima International Symposium on Synchrotron Radiation

Hiroshima Synchrotron Radiation Center (HiSOR), Hiroshima University will organize the 27th Hiroshima International Symposium on Synchrotron Radiation — Materials Science using VUV-SX Synchrotron Radiation: Towards the future HiSOR-II project — on March 9-10, 2023, at the Faculty Club, Hiroshima University.

This international symposium is held every year in March to be aware of the latest research on materials and biomolecular sciences using synchrotron radiation in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) and soft x-ray (SX) region, as well as developments of light source, and overview scientific activities of HiSOR, one of the Joint Usage/Research Center in Japan, in this fiscal year.

The symposium consists of five oral sessions including invited talks by distinguished researchers from abroad, and a poster session. In the oral sessions, in-house staffs will report achievements and future prospects of the five priority area in HiSOR, and discuss the status with participants. We have also set up a Flash Poster Session in which students or young researchers can give a short oral presentation on their posters.

Please visit our symposium if you are interested in the latest research and future prospects in the field of synchrotron-radiation science, and scientific activities at HiSOR. The registration fee is free of charge. We are looking forward to seeing you at the symposium.
You may also participate online.

Please feel free to register here.
